Join the signature SCOA class in the East Somerville area. We’ll use a play ball, resistance band, and handheld weights to do seated exercises with optional standing strength and balance activities. Enjoy music while doing easy-to-follow functional movements that help support an independent and active lifestyle.

In July, we learned the food groups and what our bodies may need. In August, we will continue to focus on incorporating all the food groups into our diets, so that we get what is necessary for our daily balance to nourish our bodies. Questions?  Contact Mary.

Eleven purple flags will solemnly grace the City Hall lawn in memory of residents whose lives were lost to opioid-related overdose in 2025.

This is an online version of the General Exercise class that welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Enjoy seated exercises with the option to use dumbbells and work on standing strength and balance. This easy-to-follow workout focuses on functional fitness to maintain an independent lifestyle.
