This meeting of the Somerville Municipal Scholarship Committee has been canceled.

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023, this public meeting will be conducted via remote participation.

Due to habitat loss and pesticide use, pollinator populations are declining in New England and worldwide. In response, Mayor Ballantyne’s Public Space and Urban Forestry Division is developing a Somerville Pollinator Action Plan (SPAP) to identify interventions foster habitat for pollinators in the city.

This free-to-enter intergenerational pop-up will be a public space pilot, a living room for the community, a resource center, and an arts, culture, and business incubator. It will be open daily from 1 to 8 pm until June 9.

The Cambridge-Somerville Asian Festival aims are to highlight the diversity of heritages within the Asian American community, and provide a positive anti-racist vision through exposure to Asian arts, music, food, community leaders and more.

The Casino Night themed event will include Casino Gaming Tables (Black Jack, Craps, Roulette, and Poker), raffle baskets, live music, delicious food, and a limited open bar - all in support of Mystic Learning Center, Inc.’s mission to improve the lives of low-income children and families who live in the Mystic Public Housing Development and surrounding neighborhoods.
