Traffic Commission Meeting

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025, this meeting of the Traffic Commission may be conducted via remote participation.

Virtual Overdose Prevention and Response Trainings

The Somerville Prevention Services and the Cambridge Public Health Department offer a free virtual overdose prevention and response trainings on a monthly basis to the community and free on-site trainings for groups by appointment.

Quincy Street Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

All community members are invited to join a ribbon cutting ceremony for Quincy Street Park. The ribbon cutting celebrates modern updates to the almost 15-year-old park that will help it continue to serve as an oasis for its community.

Memory Cafe (Council on Aging)

A MEMORY CAFÉ IS A SAFE SPACE FOR THOSE WITH COGNITIVE DECLINE AND THEIR CAREGIVERS. IT’S A PLACE TO GATHER AND SOCIALIZE WITHOUT STIGMA OR JUDGEMENT. 

For June’s Café, we will be decorating dish cloths.

Enjoy exercising in nature in this NEW OUTDOOR Eastern Flow class! Connect mind, body, and spirit while getting into a state of Flow. Finding flow moves us toward finding an effortless clarity and euphoria that can transform lives. Traditional Eastern movements from martial arts and nature are explored, but in a modern way. Music is used to enhance enjoyment and aid in movement flow.

Public Hearing on Water & Sewer Fiscal Year 2027 Rate Proposal

LGBTQIA+ Virtual General Exercise (Council on Aging)

This is an online version of the General Exercise class that welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Enjoy seated exercises with the option to use dumbbells and work on standing strength and balance. This easy-to-follow workout focuses on functional fitness to maintain an independent lifestyle.

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

This is a chair-based workout with the option to use light handheld weights and do supported standing strength and balance activities. Enjoy easy-to-follow cardio, strength training, mobility, and flexibility patterns.
