Lincoln Park Design Review Community Meeting
The City of Somerville Parks and Open Space Department in conjunction with Alderman Scott and Alderman Hirsch will be hosting a community meeting Monday December 17th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Argenziano School cafeteria to provide residents with an opportunity to discuss the Lincoln Park design and to review the schedule for the remaining work to be completed next spring.
Annual Illuminations Tour
On Saturday, Dec. 15 (snow date: Sunday, Dec. 16), residents and visitors are invited to the Somerville Arts Council’s annual Illuminations Tour. Tour guides will lead trolleys past some of the City’s most spectacular displays of holiday lights, sharing stories about the families that decorate and providing local historic trivia en route.

The Board of Health is seeking public testimony on proposals (1) remove the menthol exemption in the flavor restriction moving all menthol products to adult-only tobacco retailers, (2) consider "tobacco" a flavor for e-cigs and (3) ban the sale of electronic cigarettes at all retailers except for qualifying retail tobacco stores/vape shops.
