It uses easy-to-follow moves that focus on balance, range of motion, and coordination. June is Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month. Celebrating these two food groups in
June, aims to inspire people to eat more of these nutritious foods every day
that may help reduce risk of many diseases.
We are learning to balance our diets with all the food groups, and adding fresh fruits

Somerville Commission for Persons with Disabilities 3rd Annual Red Sox Event

Somerville residents who self-identify as having a disability can reserve free tickets for themselves and one guest by emailing ADAcommission@gmail.com

We are offering FREE transportation options, a classic Fenway Park meal during the game, and a Disability Pride Game Shirt courtesy of the Boston Red Sox!

City of Somerville FY26 Municipal Budget Public Hearing

There will be a Public Hearing before the City Council’s Committee on Finance, meeting as a Committee of the Whole for public input on the proposed FY 2026 municipal budget. 

Memory Cafe (Council on Aging)

Memory Café is a safe space for those with cognitive decline and their caregivers.  It is a place to gather and socialize without stigma or judgement.  For June’s Café we will be making flowers out of coffee filters.

All are welcome! Registration is required.
You will need to register on a weekly basis.
Each week call the COA Reservation line at
617-625-6600 ext. 2323, Monday or Tuesday to reserve your spot for the following week.
