Movie Showing of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (Part of SustainaVille Week)

Join the Somerville Public Library and the Office of Sustainability and Environment at the West Branch Library in honor of Earth Day. We will be viewing “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” (2017), a documentary about former Vice President Al Gore’s continuing efforts to fight climate change globally.

Community Conversation: People with Disabilities with Murshid Buwembo

These discussions will be facilitated by local Cultural Ambassadors in addition to City staff serving as Advisors.

Marcus Santos and Grooversity

Marcus Santos from Grooversity Global Drumming Network will lead this hands-on interactive, multicultural show, showcasing a friendly body movement adaptation of traditional rhythms and dances from different countries.

Narcan Distribution

Community members are encouraged to swing by our table to receive a brief overdose prevention training as well as FREE harm reduction materials including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, CPR face shields, and syringe disposal containers.
