Our plans for the new playground for the 2-5 year old age group to be constructed at the Allen Street Community Garden next summer are almost complete and we would like to share them with you on Tuesday evening, December 18th. Please join us if you are free.  We will discuss the new design and the proposed schedule.

The City of Somerville Parks and Open Space Department in conjunction with Alderman Scott and Alderman Hirsch will be hosting a community meeting Monday December 17th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Argenziano School cafeteria to provide residents with an opportunity to discuss the Lincoln Park design and to review the schedule for the remaining work to be completed next spring.

Tour guides will lead trolleys past some of the City’s most spectacular displays of holiday lights, sharing stories about the families that decorate and providing local historic trivia en route.
