Free Flu Shot Clinic

Cold and flu season is approaching, which means it’s time for the annual flu vaccine clinics offered by the City of Somerville Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The clinics offer free flu vaccines for Somerville residents ages four and older (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Somerville Reads' Kickoff

The 2018 “Somerville Reads” program officially begins on Saturday, November 3, with a block party at our East Branch Library beginning at noon! This Exit West inspired celebration will feature live music performances by local groups El Sistema Somerville and Grooversity, as well as refreshments, and activities for all ages.

CANCELED: Condominium Review Board Meeting

Due to an unexpected resignation received on October 18th, 2018, the Condominium Review Board (CRB) has temporarily lost the ability to convene with a minimum of three members present. Two other board memberships were concluded in July and August when members relocated from Somerville. Those vacancies are in the process of being filled.

COASTSWEEP Cleanup Day at Draw Seven Park

Join the Somerville Conservation Commission and the Mystic River Watershed Association to pick up trash at Draw Seven Park as part of the annual statewide COASTSWEEP cleanup. Draw Seven State Park, along the Mystic River next to Assembly Square, is Somerville’s only coastal property.
