Citizenship Interview Preparation Class

The Somerville Public Library and St. Mark Community Education Program will host a free, 12-part Citizenship Interview Preparation Class on Saturdays this fall in partnership with Project Citizenship. The class is designed to prepare participants for all parts of their citizenship test, from literacy to U.S.

Planning Board Meeting

The Special Planning Board Meeting previously scheduled for Thursday, September 5, has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 26. The meeting will be held in the Somerville High School auditorium, 81 Highland Ave., beginning with a presentation at 6 p.m. The only item that will be discussed is the Davis Square Neighborhood Plan.

Searching for Housing With a Section 8 Voucher

Join the City of Somerville’s Office of Housing Stability (OHS) on Thursday, September 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a workshop on Section 8 housing searches, including advice and strategies to make your housing search more effective. The workshop will be held in the auditorium at the main branch of the Somerville Public Library, 73 Highland Ave. Interpretation will be provided.
