The Somerville Mobile Farmers Market will begin its 2022 season on July 8th. The Somerville Mobile Farmers’ Market sells fresh, local produce in Somerville, MA. We offer an unlimited 50% discount for all who need it. We accept cash, debit, credit, SNAP, WIC Farmers’ Market Coupons, and Senior Farmers’ Market Coupons. All are welcome!

Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, this meeting of the Human Rights Commission will be conducted via remote participation.

Project Outlook (Council on Aging)

Project Outlook is a group of constituents with low or no vision who enjoy getting together for camaraderie and socialization. Project Outlook meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Holland St. Center 167 Holland Street. This month we will be meeting on Thursday, July 21st. Inclusionary Housing Program Virtual Office Hours

The Inclusionary Housing team is hosting weekly, recurring virtual office hours for the public to join and get questions answered, assistance with applications etc.

Music & Movement Enrichment with Steve (Council on Aging)

Join Steve as he plays guitar, sings and leads gentle movements. Just tapping your toe or singing along can help move your body in new ways. Being physically active is not just good for our bodies, but it is also one of Mental Health America’s 10 tools to building resiliency; or the ability to overcome obstacles and manage through tough times.

Each class focuses on strength, balance and flexibility and is a great way to keep moving and stay strong.

The SHINE Program (Council on Aging)

Hear from the regional SHINE director to learn about how to apply for Medicare. Topics will also include Medicare Part A and B, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D), Medicare Supplemental Plans and various assistance programs available for people with limited resources. Continental breakfast will be provided.
