Fireworks

The City of Somerville will host its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration at Trum Field on Wednesday, June 30 (rain date July 1).

Live entertainment at Trum Field will begin at 7:00 p.m. with DJ Brother Cleve playing pop, soul, funk, and other classic tunes followed by Booty Vortex taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:45 p.m.

MassDOT - Bridge Preservation, I-93 NB and SB from Route 28 to Temple Street Virtual Design Public Hearing

The Somerville Viaduct, carrying I-93 through the City of Somerville, will be going through structural repairs in order to maintain its functionality. The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

It’s a sing-along, toe-tapping musical journey from the early 1900s up through the 1960s. Howie also adds trivia, background stories about the songs and a little G-rated humor here and there.
