The Somerville Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room on the 3rd floor at City Hall. This meeting will discuss a potential Union Square historic district and other business.

The Somerville Allied Veterans Council will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Dilboy VFW Post, 371 Summer Street. This year, Alderman Matt McLaughlin will present citations to 29 Somerville post-9/11 veterans. The public and all city employees are cordially invited.

Please join us on Monday, November 10th at 11:30 A.M. at our Holland Street Center located at 167 Holland Street for our monthly lunch. You will have a choice between the hot and cold options provided below from Somerville – Cambridge Elder Services and a suggested donation is $2.00.
