Balletone (Council on Aging)

Balletone is a program for the Non-Dancer and everyBODY. Ballet techniques provide a foundation for healthier posture, body alignment, improved balance, and control of the body. Balletone is influenced by Pilates, with centering and flowing transitions that are gentle and slow.

Virtual Small Business Office Hours

Virtually join the Small Business Office Hours,  held Thursdays from 4:00-5:00PM. Join in to talk to city staff from Economic Development, Licensing, and ISD to discuss any questions regarding permits, licenses, or your business. Attendees will be held in a waiting room and admitted to speak with staff in order of which they joined the call.

This is a chair-based workout with the option to use light handheld weights and do supported standing strength and balance activities. Walking Club (Council on Aging)

Connect with friends new and old while spending time out in nature. This group walks at a moderate pace and is a great way to add movement to your day. Explore nature trails and the streets of Somerville for an enjoyable journey!

It uses easy-to follow moves that focus on balance, range of motion, and coordination. The class is designed to develop cardiovascular endurance, muscular conditioning and flexibility while helping relieve arthritic pain.
